What industrial UAV applications is the IPET I7 suitable for?
The IPET I7 is suitable for industrial UAV applications including aerial inspection, mapping, surveying, and other missions requiring efficient propulsion and extended flight endurance for medium-sized multirotor platforms.
What UAV platforms is the IPET I7 propulsion system suitable for?
The IPET I7 propulsion system is designed for industrial multirotor UAV platforms. It is suitable for quadcopters with a 10–14 kg MTOW, providing efficient propulsion performance for medium-sized industrial UAV applications.
What is the endurance of the I7 at different payload levels?
Reference test data: 2 kg: 120 min 3 kg: 77 min 4 kg: 65 min 5 kg: 60 min
Can the I5 and I7 be combined with the IV Series for a 4+1 VTOL configuration?
No. The I Series is mainly designed for multirotor platforms, while the IV Series is intended for fixed-wing platforms. The propeller sizes of the I5 and I7 are not suitable for a 4+1 VTOL configuration with the IV Series.
How can I use UAVCAN or DroneCAN to control the I7 motor?
If you need to control throttle through UAVCAN or DroneCAN, you will need our link device and PC software for configuration. The default communication method is PWM control.
